FAQ

Where will the wedding take place and how many days will it last?

You can find the exact address of the wedding here:

Località Fio Di Sopra, 52014 Poppi AR, Italy

As you could already read in the Wedding menu section, we have planned the celebration as a three-day event because we truly want to create a lasting experience. As the saying goes, a wedding is the only day in your life when everyone who truly matters is there. We would love to have enough time to be with each of you, to talk, and to create shared memories together.

Of course, it is absolutely fine if you cannot join for all three days. What matters most to us is that you can join to celebrate the Big Day with us on Thursday. If you'd like to know, here is how the program will unfold:

24.06.2026 – Arrival

Evening arrival, a relaxed pasta party, getting to know each other, chatting, and unwinding before the Big Day.

25.06.2026 – The Big Day

The day of our wedding, when we officially say "I do."

We kindly ask everyone to arrive at the venue by 2:00 PM at the latest.
On this day, please do not try to reach the bride, as she will be busy getting ready and won't be able to assist with questions.

All important information will be shared here, and we will also create a WhatsApp/Messenger group for coordination. (The website will be continuously updated.)

26.06.2026 – Celebration

A full day of carefree celebration and fun: pool time, relaxing, and in the evening the newlyweds will bake pizza for everyone — pizza party and joyful partying together 🍕

Will the ceremony be held outdoors or indoors?

The wedding will mainly take place outdoors, but we do have a "Plan B" in case of bad weather.

When does the ceremony start and how long will the celebration last?

We will share the detailed schedule closer to the wedding. At the moment, the welcome reception is planned to begin at 4:00 PM, and the ceremony is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM.

Please note that the program is still in the planning phase, so the timings may change. The detailed information will be available in the "Program Plan" section.

On-site accommodation

For those guests whom we have contacted separately, we are able to provide accommodation on-site.

Please note that any special requests — such as a baby cot or an extra bed — are subject to an additional fee (€25 per night), which must be paid directly to the accommodation provider.

If you have any such requests, please let us know in advance so we can forward them. Any additional charges will need to be settled on-site at check-in, so please be prepared accordingly.

Can I request changes to the room allocation?

Unfortunately, no — the accommodation is fully booked, and we are unable to make changes, as we need to fill every bed and space available.

With this in mind, please decide whether you would like to make use of the accommodation we are providing, or if it would be more comfortable for you to book a place nearby instead.

We have put together a list of recommended accommodations in the area, which you can browse in the "Accommodation" section.

How will meals be arranged for the three days?

You can read more about our ideas in detail in the Wedding section.

We will take care of dinner on Wednesday, a light breakfast and lunch on Thursday, as well as the wedding dinner. On Friday, we'll prepare a relaxed "crumb party" breakfast and lunch, and in the evening we'll bake pizza for everyone.

If you would like to buy anything for yourself, or if you follow a special diet, please plan ahead. If you are not arriving by car, the nearest grocery store is about a 27-minute walk from Antico Fio. You can find the exact address here.

Of course, you're welcome to coordinate with guests arriving by car for a shared grocery run if needed — by car, the store is only about 4 minutes away. Please arrange this among yourselves if necessary.

Who can we contact if we have questions during the wedding?

More information coming soon.

Is there a dress code?

Strictly speaking, there is no mandatory dress code, but for the wedding day we suggest elegant attire. The overall atmosphere will be refined yet relaxed and nature-inspired, reflecting the Tuscan lifestyle. It may be quite warm, so we recommend keeping the weather in mind when choosing your outfit.

As we plan to say I DO under the olive trees, the Bride would especially love olive green or soft pastel shades — but of course, this is simply a kind preference.

We absolutely do not want anyone to feel obliged to buy a new dress or suit. What matters most to us is that you feel comfortable and enjoy the day 😊

Are there irons available in the apartments?

More information coming soon.

Can we take our own photos during the ceremony?

We will have a wonderful photographer and videographer who will make sure that every tiny, unrepeatable moment is beautifully captured forever.

From the bottom of our hearts, we kindly ask you to put your phones away during the ceremony and be fully present with us in this intimate, emotional, and once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Transfer: Arezzo – Poppi

More information coming soon.

Where can we ask questions or send our feedback?

We're sure many questions may come up regarding the wedding. To keep communication smooth and organized, we kindly ask you to contact us via the email address we created or in a shared Messenger message, so that both of us can see the conversation.

You can also reach out anytime through the contact form at the bottom of the website, or via email at: doradominikwedding@gmail.com. This is important to us so that all information reliably reaches both of us.

You can also confirm your attendance through the designated RSVP form.

Gifts

The greatest gift for us is having you celebrate this day with us. We kindly ask that you do not bring physical gifts — however, if you would still like to gift us, we would appreciate it in the form of an envelope.

There will be an opportunity after the wedding dinner to offer your congratulations and hand over envelopes.
