How to get there
The address of the venue: Via dei Cappuccini, 52014 Poppi (AR), Italy
By Car
As you'll be arriving from different locations and countries, we believe the easiest and most comfortable way to reach the venue is by car. In Tuscany, having a car gives you great freedom: it makes it much easier to explore nearby towns, wineries and restaurants, so you can easily combine the wedding with a little Tuscan holiday — either before or after.
Another advantage of driving is that you can coordinate with others and travel together in one car. It's not only practical, but can also turn into a lovely shared journey. A long road trip filled with conversations, music, and Tuscan landscapes can be a truly enjoyable experience.
We'll be driving from Budapest to the venue, which takes approximately 10–11 hours, but with a few stops along the way it can be done comfortably.
We also recommend renting a car at the airport where you land, so you will have much more freedom afterwards:)!
You can find the exact address here: Via dei Cappuccini, 52014 Poppi (AR), Italy
By Plane
As Poppi does not have its own airport, the easiest option is to fly into one of the larger Italian cities and then continue your journey by train to Arezzo.
From Arezzo, we are planning to provide a transfer service:
– one time slot on Wednesday, June 24
– and two time slots on Thursday, June 25 (until 1:00 PM).
The exact transfer times will be adjusted to the majority's needs, so please let us know in this Google Form if you will require it and which day. We will create a separate Messenger group to coordinate the details.
We have prepared a list of recommended airports for you, along with the flights available from Budapest during the week of the wedding. We will also share information about train connections from each airport.
When planning and booking your trip, please keep in mind that strikes are relatively common in Italy and delays can occur, so we recommend not leaving your travel arrangements to the last minute 🙂

Travel by Minibus
If anyone is considering traveling from Budapest by minibus, it may be worth teaming up in a group of 6–8 people and renting one together. Price-wise, this can be one of the most cost-effective travel options — and with good company, the journey feels much shorter.
We've looked into a few minibus rental options. If you're interested in more details, just let us know and we'll share what we've found. After that, you can get in touch with the company directly and coordinate based on your own needs.
